About Alistair Gibson, CPO, LPO
Alistair Gibson one of the most experienced prosthetists in the industry. He studied in Scotland at the University of Strathclyde, where he earned a BSc (Hons) in Prosthetics and Orthotics. He is also certified by the American Board for Certification in Orthotics, Prosthetics & Pedorthics (ABC). Gibson has extensive experience in the field of O&P—in fact, nearly 30 years’ worth—and is a master orthotist and prosthetist.
Gibson decided to pursue orthotics and prosthetics after his experiences with a friend who used prosthetics in day-to-day life. Gibson was fascinated by the way a prosthesis could restore hope to an individual, and from that moment forward, his passion for O&P first began.
