A Defining Patient Experience
During his internship, Geoff met a patient who had recently undergone a below-the-knee amputation at a local hospital. As he introduced himself, he realized the patient was someone familiar—an old family friend he hadn’t seen in years.
She had once been wheelchair-bound, and over time had also lost her eyesight and her leg due to diabetes. Supporting her through the process and helping her take her first steps again became a defining moment in Geoff’s journey.
Why SKY?
Geoff enjoys being part of SKY because it feels more like a family. The team brings great energy and creates an environment where both patients and professionals feel supported. This sense of community allows Geoff to feel at home while working closely with his patients and coworkers.
